Placement to deter squirrels: The key to keeping a feeder successfully squirrel-proofed is the placement. Place a bird feeder 4 feet from the ground and 8 feet from anything a squirrel can jump from. When hanging from a pole by a hook, it is recommended that the hook have at least a 16” distance from the pole. Placing a baffle on the pole or having a caged feeder will also help to ensure squirrel-proof success.
Warranty
2 Year Manufacturing Warranty: Register your product online here. Once you register, the Forever Promise covers all feeders, accessories and components from manufacturing and materials defects for 2 years or 24 months from date of purchase. Droll Yankees will repair or replace, at its discretion, any manufacturing defect in these products free of charge. The Forever Promise does not cover damage through normal wear and tear, weather, or bear, raccoon or other animal damage.
Lifetime Squirrel-Damage Warranty: If your feeder is badly damaged by squirrels, to the extent that the effectiveness of the feeder is compromised, The Forever Promise also includes a lifetime warranty against squirrel-damage on all our products.
Electrical Part Warranty: The Yankee Flipper Powerstick and AC/DC Adapter are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from date of purchase. In the event of a manufacturing defect, Droll Yankees will replace the Powerstick and AC/DC Adapter free of charge. This warranty does not extend to damage through improper use, improper cleaning, weather.

United StatesHello Friends at More Birds and customers, We have had our feeder for about a month and the local squirrels are having a fit. They cannot jump on the bird feeder hanging from our cherry tree as they have in the past. If they touch the rim of the feeder, they are immediately ejected. Our squirrels weigh about 10 lbs. because they have been dining at our feeder for many years. They have discovered our old feeder which we transferred to a low branch near a window on the back of our house- we use a cane to pound on the window periodically to encourage them to leave, but they are not starving. Onward into 2021!
