Cleaning: Dirty bird feeders spread disease. We recommend cleaning your feeders weekly, or monthly at a minimum. Do not put your feeder in the dishwasher as the high temperatures can permanently damage the feeder parts. Clean your feeders outdoors with a large bucket, and always wear gloves when cleaning. Soak your feeder in a 9:1 solution of water and bleach for 15 minutes. Then use a bird feeder brush to scrub the feeder with dish soap and water. Refill when completely dry.

Its inconvenient to fill
The top of the feeder comes off in two separate pieces for you to fill . You have to unscrew the small piece, then remove the top "roof". Its not quick and easy, I have to use 2 hands and then I always drop the small part on the ground. Also , there is a small bar across the top of the tube . The seed hits the bar while filling and the seeds go all over. The feeder is very nice to look at and it does its job ( feeding the birds ) . I have 3 other feeders of a different brand that I can hold in one hand and fill with the seed scoop using my other hand. My other feeders are easier and quicker to fill and hang back up.

Good looking but not perfect
I like the look of this feeder, but wish it was easier to fill. You have to unscrew the cap, remove the top and then there is a bar that blocks your ability to pour seed in so you end up spilling it. Not a huge problem, just inconvenient. Otherwise, it is well made and attractive. Obviously it is not a squirrell deterrent feeder and I will see how it holds up to their assaults!

Great looking and easy to hang feeder
The More Birds® Prairie Sunflower Tube Bird Feeder is easy to hang, easy to fill and maintain. The birds come to it well. The design is clean and appealing, a nice look in the yard.
My Goldfinches like it
Construction on this feeder is very solid, mostly metal with a plastic tube. I only have two real complaints. First, there is a metal cross piece that holds the clear tube to the base that's held in place by a wing nut, rather than the tube being held in place by the top cover. This needs to be removed to fill the feeder, not a huge deal, just an extra step. The second thing, there is a clear plastic washer that goes between the top cover and the screw on hook, very easy to miss this when you take it apart for the first time, and if you lose it the hook will not tighten against to top and it can rattle a bit. My solution for this after I almost lost the washer for the 3rd time was to secure it to the top cover with a couple dabs of hot glue. Overall this is a nice feeder, Finches and Cardinals like it, have even had larger birds such as Grackles and Mourning Doves use it.

More Birds® Prairie Sunflower Tube Bird Feeder
THE FEEDER IS VERY STYLISH AND SLEEK LOOKING. IN THE LAST 10 DAYS, I’VE HAD TO REFILL THE FEEDER 3 TIMES. IT ATTRACTED BIRDS WITHIN THE FIRST DAY OF INSTALLATION. VERY FEW SQUIRRELS HAVE BEEN ABLE TO GET TO THE SEED. I’M VERY HAPPY WITH THIS FEEDER. ONE POSSIBLE SUGGESTION IS TO WELD THE BOTTOM TO THE CENTER SHAFT AS IT HAS A TENDECY TO UNSCREW WHEN YOU TAKE THE TOP OFF TO FILL.... I WAS ABLE TO COUNTER THIS BY PUTTING ON A LOCK WASHER AND ANOTHER NUT
