Cleaning: Please! For the sake of the birds, keep your feeder clean! Dirty feeders spread disease. We recommend disinfecting your bird feeders once a month in winter and more often in hot and humid weather. Soak all parts in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Use a bird feeder brush to brush away grime inside the tube. Then remove any hardware and clean with a solution of mild soap and water, rinsing thoroughly. Refill when completely dry.
Birds That Use This Feeder
Type Of Feed
It’s ok. I thought it would hold a suet seed pack but it’s too small.
Hi Cynthia, Thank you for your review of the More Birds Blue Snacks’N’Treats Single Dish Bird Feeder with Metal Hook. The description for this product includes information on the type of feed it can hold. This feeder can hold fruit, mealworms, peanuts, sunflower seeds and suet chunks. You should be able to use suet chunks in the feeder, so you could try breaking up the suet block into smaller chunks to fit in the dish. If you are looking for a suet holder, we do have those available on our website here: https://morebirds.com/collections/all?f_type-of-feeder=feedertype-suet If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to our Customer Service Department at 1-800-352-9164. Thank you for flying with our flock!
