Birds That Use This Feeder
Type Of Feed
Seed becomes wet easily and birds will not sit and eat at the feeder. Difficult to keep clean and clean when seed gets wet and becomes moldy. Will try one more time and if it doesn't work, out it goes to the junk. Certainly not worth the money I paid for it.
Hi GeoC, Thank you for contacting Classic Brands. We are sorry to hear that your feeder is collecting moisture. This could be due to a hairline crack, or heavy rain that is being blown sideways as opposed to straight down. If there is severe weather, we recommend bringing the feeder indoors until it passes. Please examine your tube for any hairline cracks, to be sure there is no moisture leaking inside. You can also adjust your feeders position by hanging it several inches under a roof or awning, or positioning it under a thick tree. You can also try add a baffle above the feeder which will add a layer of squirrel proofing and it will be rain proof as well. If you have any additional questions, comments or concerns, please call our Customer Service Department at 1-800-352-9164 and any one of our Customer Service Reps will be happy to assist you. Our hours are 7 am - 4:30 pm Mon-Fri (EST). Thank you for flying with our flock, and happy birding!
